Well, i'm Marie Aka SkyScraps, i'm french and live in extreme south of France (the French LA lol), i'm a student in webdesign, i've just enrolled to New York Institue of Photography, I love art in all is aspect, painting, digital art, 3D,photography etc... I'm a very busy girl, and love learning new things daily :)

I 'm also SATC's store owner since 1 year and half and even if being a store owner is not a part of joy, i'm really happy to see how SATC is now so popular, and and i'm very grateful to everyone! my designers, my artists and my customers! without them i will gave up since a long time...

I've done tons of jobs... :) waistress, barmaid, dancer, salerepresentative, and worked for the bigger company as La Redoute, and 3 suisses, and now i'm webdesigner/illustrator in freelance and student.

oh i'm very critic about my artwork so i never look at my older work cuz i'm never happy with them, just look my new one: so i will say my new tube: Burlesque lol

Well it's change each time i create something new as i improve myself each time i do a new piece or a new kit

with Photoshop, i only work with photoshop CS5

January 2009 saw the opening of Heartbeatz Creationz - Scraps Online

And over 2 years later we are heading to our 3rd birthday!

The store has gone from strength to strength, even though we may not be as big as some of the other digital scrap stores out there, we still offer a wealth of talent in the fabulous team of designers we have!

the store would not be what it is today without the designers, some of whom have been with us since day 1!

With their awesome designs and creations, we offer a wide range of products for all scrappers alike, be them digital, hybrid or *real life* scrappers, there is something for everyone!

Tell us a bit about yourself,
 I am a retired wife and mom, soon to be 65 yrs old...get my medicare...whoohooo!! My hubby, of 44 years, and I moved to South Florida from Michigan in 2008. Both of us just love it here. We are natural born beach bums. We have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 fur baby YorkiePoo named Bo. Other than digi scrapping, my hobbies are reading, swimming, and I use to clog..but my knees gave out..lol.
 
What jobs have you done other than being an digital designer?
 I am a retired nurse, I use to work in our hospital's out patient physical therapy department.
 
How long have you been digital designing and how did you get started?

 I've been digi designing for 5 years now. Here's a funny story on how I got started..lol. I had made my first Halloween scrap kit, and put it on my blog as a freebie...well I had over 900 downloads on it. My hubby saw that and said, "well just think if you would have sold that kit for $1.00"!! So that's how I got started. I've made so many new and dear friends over these past years. Digi designing is my passion and I love it! 

How do you work? ( silence, music, away in a room etc...)

 I work in my so called "office" or computer room. I don't like to work to music as it distracts me, and I'll start singing and forget what I'm doing! When your 65, your memory is kaput!

How long does it take you to complete a design

It takes me forever, it seems, to make anything..lol. I'm such a perfectionest, that I'll make it over and over until it's just the way I want it. For a kit, it takes me about a week...because I just keep adding and adding to it..lol.

You can find my designs at Heartbeatz Creationz (I think I've been there almost from the beginning with Jay ), and just recently  I joined Inspirations of Scrap Friends.

Hello my name is Angela Coles.
I live in England with the most wonderful husband in the world and our 3 active children.
We are on a gluten free diet. My eldest daughter and my son have type 1 diabetes, my son also has Aspergers. Digital scrapbooking, hybrid crafting (that's mixing digital and traditional together) and card making have become my number one hobbies.

One day, when I get the space again, I'll dig my oil paints and textiles stuff out of storage.
I enjoy designing for scrapbookers and paper crafters. My design name is Toucan Scraps.
The toucan is in honour of my husband - it's his favourite bird.

I love to teach and host a tutorials blog called Toucan Scraps Tutorials and also teach at Chrisitian Paper Crafts. My designs for digital scrapbooking, paper crafting and anything inbetween are currently exclusively available at Stitchy Bear Stamps although I hope to expand elsewhere later in the year.
